The 45th Cosmoprof took place in Bologna, Italy. From 9th to 12th March, 2012 the tradefair brought the world-wide professional beauty industry together. 2,320 exhibitors presented their latest products and innovations. With over 175,000 visitors over the four-day event, the number of the international visitors increased by 10 % to the previous year.

Make-up not only amplifies a woman's individual beauty, it is a powerful transformational tool that helps to achieve that glamorous look women strive for, all over the world.

With this year's motto THE ART OF TRANSFORMATION, Faber-Castell Cosmetics paid tribute to this virtuosity and presented with Infinite Colours and Infinite Care two concepts that create glamour and individuality thanks to the perfect balance between rich textures and strong colours.

MakeUp in New York 2011:
A grand cru … as of its first edition!


With a total of 650 participants the first edition can be considered as an excellent show and appears to be the future meeting spot for American make-up professionals. During two days managers of American brands coming from development, marketing or purchasing teams have followed one another in the Studio 450 with its intimate atmosphere. Highly competent professionals, with many of them coming from the West Coast, Europe and even several from South America.

With LAVISH LUXURY Faber-Castell Cosmetics created a concept that combines the necessity for comfort and quality with elegance and style: The perfect balance of rich textures, bold colours, exquisite decoration and high end packaging.

MakeUp in Paris 2011:
The successful 2nd edition shows
a strong increase in attendance:

In only 2 days almost 2,000 visitors attended the fair, which represents an increase of 35% over the previous year. Cosmetic brands were most prominently represented with 61% of all visitors, followed by distributors and a strong showing of marketing teams (32%). R&D (19%), Production (9%) and Purchasing (8%) made up the rest of the field. Despite a strong focus on the French market, foreign attendance grew from 5% to over 12%.

With GRACE AND GLAMOUR Faber-Castell Cosmetics paid a special homage to the 250th anniversary of Faber-Castell and presented a new range of sophisticated and elegant products that celebrate nostalgia with a modern interpretation.
